Spock's Testimony

(this poem is all quotes, either exact or paraphrased. I changed some of the order, of course, but everything in the poem is stuff that Spock actually said in the episode.)

The computer is inaccurate,
though I know of no malfunction

It is inaccurate, nevertheless—
because I know the Captain—

I do not dispute it.
I merely state that it is wrong.

I am half Vulcanian
we do not speculate.

Captain Kirk cannot act out of panic or malice.

If you let go of a hammer, it will fall.
